April 2017
2017 is shaping up to be another busy year thanks to you our customers for your custom and in turn recommending your family, friends and neighbours. More than 90 per cent of our customers come to us by way of your recommendations, which we think is the best compliment we can receive.
So a “BIG” thank you from us.
Now for our Annual Maintenance advice...

Maintenance Advice...
Window Frames & Glass: A small amount of car shampoo in warm water gives the best result.-  self cleaning glass should only be rinsed with water.
Please keep window hinges, slider and sliding door tracks clear of dust and debris to reduce wear on sliding parts, also ensure that the drainage slots remain unblocked and free from dirt and grit.

Conservatory Roofs: We recommend Polycarbonate roofs are cleaned with a caravan brush attached to a hose.
Glass self/easy clean roofs may need a little help during periods of dry weather, we recommend a light hose-down with clean water if necessary.
Always hose from the top of the roof downwards.

Locks and Hinges: If more than 3 years old lubricate with a silicone spray such as GT85, this will keep them in good working order.

Soffit, Fascia and Guttering: Wash down with soapy water and clear unwanted debris from guttering to ensure rain water is able to run freely.
We recommend HEDGEHOG GUTTER BRUSH which comes in 4 metre lengths and simply lays in the gutter all year round allowing water to flow but stopping leaves from blocking pipes.

Please do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners on any of our products.

Whilst we are pleased to see the sunshine return we would like to repeat a note of caution....

The sun's rays can be magnified by a lens or magnifying mirror, so it is wise to ensure these types of items are not too close to windows.
In fact anything that can concentrate the sun's rays, such as fish bowls or glasses of water, should be kept away from windows to reduce the risk of fire damage.

Maintenance News....Leaves are falling....
Removing unwanted debris from your gutters is ideally undertaken during Autumn.
Leaves, moss and twigs that have washed down your roof with heavy rain can stop the flow of water in your guttering. This can lead to a blockage in the system which in turn causes leaks and more serious problems.
There are professional gutter cleaning companies and some window cleaning companies who provide this service if you are unable to do this yourself.

Maintenance news....
Recommendation is 97% of the work that we do thanks to you our customers. We are also very pleased when our customers recommend products: HEDGEHOG GUTTER BRUSH is a simple way to keep gutters clear which comes in 4 metre lengths and simply lays in the gutter all year round allowing water to flow but stopping leaves from blocking pipes and causing damage.
Please also remember: Never clean your Conservatory roof with a jet power washer, the best thing to use is a telescopic caravan/car shampoo brush with shampoo pellets.
With many thanks for your continued support.
